Gordon_Daugherty

Gordon Daugherty leads the strategic planning processes at NetQoS and oversees corporate development initiatives such as market expansion opportunities, strategic investments and acquisitions.

Prior to joining NetQoS, Gordon served as Chief Marketing Officer for Britestream Networks, a provider of network security solutions, and President of the Americas for VCON, an Israeli-based supplier of videoconferencing technology.

Since starting his career at IBM, Gordon has held middle management and executive-level positions in a variety of functional disciplines, including sales, marketing, product management, and business development. While at Compaq, he led the North American product marketing efforts for the $1.4 billion networking, software and server options segment. At VCON, Gordon grew Americas revenue 340 percent in three years, enabling the company to reach $36 million and execute a successful IPO along the way.

Gordon has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Baylor University.

Barry Bruins
Senior Director of Engineering, Cisco Network Management Technology Group

Barry Bruins is a Senior Director of Engineering. He is a 15 year veteran of Cisco Systems where he has spent much of his career improving the manageability of Cisco products. In 1995, Mr. Bruins worked in the Core Routing Group where he co-invented NetFlow Switching and Data Export for which he has five patents.

Currently, Mr. Bruins leads the Performance Management engineering team in Cisco's Network Management Technology Group. He is also involved in cross Cisco efforts to develop application aware infrastructure and unified instrumentation and mediation using IPFIX standards.

Mr. Bruins has a B.S. in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.
