CA Acquires NetQoS to Optimize Business and IT Service Assurance, Delivery, and Quality of Experience

CA announced November 19, 2009 that it has completed its acquisition of NetQoS, just another proof point of how CA puts the customer first by continuing to enhance its enterprise IT management portfolio with products that are industry-leading, innovative and backed by superior customer support.

CA will continue to sell, maintain and support the existing NetQoS products, and plans to continue innovating and investing in them while keeping customer needs as the top priority. Over time, CA will integrate the NetQoS products with their existing products, combining the best capabilities of both. Additionally, CA will leverage and maintain the talent and employees of NetQoS so they can continue to provide superior products, technical and sales support, and account management.

According to analyst firm Gartner, CA has made significant progress in strategy and execution including implementing business unit accountability, strategic planning as an ongoing process and internal systems to better enable the company to manage its business and to become significantly more customer-centric.

“CA's past account management practices are rarely, if ever, seen anymore. Thus, enterprises should have CA on shortlists, based on their product capabilities and future direction, without concerns over CA becoming overly heavy-handed in negotiations.”
