Dr. Jim Metzler
Ashton, Metzler & Associates

Dr. Jim Metzler is widely recognized as an authority on both network technology and its business applications. In over 28 years of professional experience, Jim has assisted numerous vendors in refining their product and service strategies, and has helped enterprises update their network infrastructures. Jim has served the IT industry in many roles that include developing a compiler for a branch of the U.S. intelligence community, creating software tools used to design customer networks for a major interexchange carrier, managing high speed-data services for a major telco, being a product manager for a network hardware vendor, managing networks at two Fortune 500 companies, directing and executing market research at a major industry analyst firm, and running a consulting organization. Jim has co-authored a book published by Prentice Hall titled “Layer 3 Switching: A Guide for IT Professionals,” and he is a popular speaker at industry events. Jim holds a Ph.D. in Numerical Analysis from Boston University.

Joel Trammell
Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, NetQoS, Inc.

Since co-founding the company in 1999, Joel Trammell–a 2006 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and the Austin Business Journal 2005 Private Company Executive of the Year–has led NetQoS to become one of the fastest growing private companies in the U.S., with a rapidly growing list of blue-chip customers, strong annual revenue growth, and sustained profitability.

Joel’s achievements in information technology span two decades and include numerous positions of leadership and management, most recently with Advanced Micro Devices. Before that he was the President and CEO of UST Computers, an Austin-based provider of computer hardware and network services, and HomeSmart, a company that he co-founded to provide sales and marketing products for the residential construction industry.

Joel graduated Magna Cum Laude from Louisiana Tech University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He remains a recognized expert in network solutions and large-scale IT systems deployment. Joel also serves as Chairman of the Board for NetQoS, Inc.

Carl A. Duhnoski
Chief Information Officer, PSS World Medical, Inc.

Carl A. Duhnoski was promoted to Chief Information Officer of PSS World Medical, Inc. (Nasdaq GS: PSSI) in October 2007. From August 2005 to October 2007, he served as Senior Director, IT Infrastructure, managing the Company's enterprise-wide technology platform and implementing best-practice programs to streamline infrastructure efficiency. Mr. Duhnoski also led the relocation of the Company's Enterprise Data Center to a secure hosted facility and the continued development of systems to support the Company's growth. While previously with Bloomberg L.P. ("Bloomberg") for over 12 years, Mr. Duhnoski progressed through various leadership roles to Global Program Director, managing operations in the North American, European, and Asian markets. He also oversaw the development of electronic trading applications and launched both the Software Quality Assurance Group and various support activities for Bloomberg's Electronic Trading Applications. Mr. Duhnoski holds a B.S. in Economics and an M.B.A. from Rider University.
